CoachingClass teaches you the best ways
to help kids learn and perform at their very best.

The Difference

We teach the art & science of coaching kids.

It’s not about the X’s and O’s of your sport. It’s about understanding HOW kids learn, what keeps them engaged, and what helps them perform at their best.

CoachingSchool uses evidence-based principles to help you turn that knowledge into better coaching—and better experiences for kids.

FREE and Easy

We believe all coaches should have training in HOW to coach kids. We believe cost should not be a barrier for individual coaches, or for organizations that provide training for their coaches.

There’s no catch. There’s no sign up. Just click the link to start the training. There are three 30-minute videos to watch.

Meaningful Certification

Just like the kids we coach, it’s not enough to simply be shown something. Learning means understanding and being able to demonstrate what you’ve learned.

For organizations that want to ensure their coaches understand the material, CoachingSchool offers a meaningful assessment that verifies their knowledge.

And we’ve made certification affordable!

Parents Matter, Too!

We learned years ago that providing great coaching education wasn’t enough. We needed to help parents understand how kids learn and succeed in sports, too.

That’s why we created the Parent Passport, now updated and expanded as the Parent Guide to Youth Sports.

Inside, you’ll discover the 10 Most Important Things parents can do to help their kids have a positive, successful youth sports experience.

We know you have a lot on your plate. Recruiting and managing volunteer coaches is challenging enough without having to worry about whether they’re prepared to coach kids.

Your volunteer coaches are your greatest asset. Give them the education and confidence they need to create great experiences for kids—and make your job a little easier along the way.

With free coaching education, affordable certification, and tools to track your coaches’ progress, CoachingSchool helps you build a stronger program.
